About
Alex is a storyboard artist and animator. He enjoys working on projects with diverse casts of characters and creating engaging stories. He has experience working on both 2d and 3d productions, and has a strong understanding of the animation production pipeline.
Experience
Alex worked on many team based and solo projects, creating both storyboards and animation. In his solo work, Alex has created multiple music videos and animated shorts, in which he was also responsible with creating and managing assets, character designs, and other visual elements for the projects.
2021 - 2023 - Freelance Animator / Illustrator - SaltyDKdan YouTube Channel
Storyboarded and animated multiple music videos for the channel. Also created custom illustrations for use on physical merchandise
2022 - Freelance Storyboard Artist / Animator - Onisun
Worked with the client to conceptualize and storyboard their ideas, then animated a three minute 2D animated music video for their YouTube channel
2022 - Character Designer / Animator - IUPUI ePortfolio Studio
Designed characters, puppet rigs, and created 2D puppet animation for informational videos used by the school’s on campus ePortfolio studio
2021 - Storyboard Artist / Character Animator - Sea Creatures Congress
Collaborated with a team to create a 3D animated short based on a children’s book, worked on storyboarding, scene set up, and character animation
